HOW CAN WE HELP?

Yes. Wordwards is free to download and play. All game modes — Focus, Zen, Daily Board, Daily Puzzle, Async PvP and Labyrinth — are free. Optional coin packs let you unlock powerups and cosmetics faster.

Tap and hold the first letter, then drag through connected letters to trace your word. Letters must be adjacent, including diagonals. Lift to arm Submit, then tap to lock in. Words must be at least 3 letters and appear in our dictionary. You can also tap one tile at a time if you prefer.

If you signed in with Google or Apple, your progress is automatically backed up and restored on any device. Anonymous accounts are tied to your device — we strongly recommend linking an account to protect your data.

Every day at midnight UTC, a new board is generated and shared by all players worldwide. You have 24 hours to play it and submit your best score. Results appear on the global leaderboard. Your daily streak counts the consecutive days you've played.

In a PvP match, both players receive the same board. You play when you're ready — there's no live session. Each player has 24 hours per turn. When both players have submitted, scores are compared and a winner is determined.

Labyrinth is a dungeon-style mode of 18 sequential rooms of procedurally generated boards. Each room is harder than the last. You spend a 40-turn bank that carries across rooms. Rare cosmetics and big coin rewards await players who clear the full run.

Zen Mode and Focus Mode work fully offline. Daily Board, Daily Puzzle, and PvP require an internet connection. Offline scores sync automatically when you reconnect.

Coins are earned by playing — bonus coins for long words, daily streaks, level-ups and leaderboard placements. Coins are spent on powerups in-game and cosmetic items in the shop. Coin packs are also available via In-App Purchase.

To delete your account and all associated data, see our Delete Account page or email support@wordwards.app with "Account Deletion Request" in the subject line. Include the email or user ID associated with your account. We process deletion requests within 30 days.

English only at launch. More languages are planned.

Base score = letter values × length bonus. Common letters score less, rare letters like Q and Z score more. Streak multipliers stack on top, and words of 8+ letters earn a flat +5 bonus. See the How to Play page for the full breakdown.
